Here’s a little more about me…
Hey folks!
Welcome to my website, I'm stoked you’re here so here’s a little bit about me. I have a passion for travelling, learning, music, art, experiencing new things and connecting with new people. I live by the sea and it is my constant inspiration and has introduced me to a whole new community. I am forever moved by music and art - old and new. I recently rebranded my business from The Wild Love Club to my name Nicola Jay Photos. I began as a wedding photographer in wild places, photographing couples Eloping in some beautiful landscapes with intimate ceremonies. But my inspiration grew further and my love of all environments and I'm so inspired by the hype and energy of a city party too, so at the end of 2025 I decided to change my name. If you’re looking for TWLC I'm so glad you found me here too!
I love my job and all the adventures it has taken me on. From destination weddings to intimate celebrations in the mountains I am forever moved by your love and I hope to make magic with you too!
Hey, i’m Nicola
Here’s a little bit about me and my lovely little business of storytelling!
I’m a cold sea dipping, abstract painter, crafter, outdoorsy gal. Last year I started skateboarding, surfing and generally trying to find dopamine hits from nature and making lush memories with my family and friends. I love alt indie music, travelling and connecting with new folk from all walks of life.
My Grandad gave me his analogue cameras in my late teens. He used to develop his negatives and images in the cupboard under the stairs. During my fine art degree I learnt how to develop myself, there’s something so special about bringing a moment to life. I’ve always been arty and I love hearing other peoples stories so becoming a portrait photographer happened organically.
In 2016 my friend asked me to photograph her intimate wedding ceremony in the Lake District, I’ve been honoured to have witnessed, captured, made some amazing friends in this crazy world of love and have been so absolutely moved by some incredibly emotional moments since.
It is my dream to travel the world, photographing people and their loved ones getting married and experiencing all the cultural exchanges and rituals that make each celebration of love so unique.
I don’t take my role in your day lightly, every time a couple says, ‘we want you’, I couldn’t be more humbled that it’s my eye and my experience you want to capture one of the most special days in your lives together.
Thank you for being here!
